The try on frames arrived

I keep my nails trimmed alllll the way back because I have really thin skin and a swipe or flail here and there means I might rip off chunks of my epidermis. In fact, it happened this morning 'orz ripped off a bit of my shoulder. These babies are sharp.

Did you like any of them River?

I only liked one a lot, the sophistocat one.

I like the crowe one but thinking on it I'm not sure.

That said, tbh I ponder if the quality of the try on at home is the same as the quality of the ones you actually buy. They felt..fake? ish..? unless it was my brain being all it feels fake cause the lenses were just clear, no script.

That said if I can't find a 2nd pair to go with sophistocat, I'm looking at these 3 from bailey nelson, will only pick two.

I think I know what you mean. The plastic used for the frame feels flimsy right? Like it'll snap or break easily.

poshi - yes. But the feel also felt fake.. =/ so I wonder if they send out cheap versions and then the real deal is actually good?

I think I don't like them as much on me because thin frames just don't look good and I think that's putting me off with this pair. As much as I like the design.

I like them. Though I think I'd have to get used to the green on the inside.

I kinda like you with the crowe x3x but I guess it's my personal preference, I rather thin frames

For me the Crowe seems too large on you somehow. I like the sophisticat better, even though I would have expected them to be more dominating and worse for a small face. But then again, I find it really hard to tell how glasses will look on people if I don't see them on them in general.

Wouldn't it be somehow weird to send out frames that are different from the real deal for trying on? I mean, they'd at least have to write lots of warnings about that to make sure people aren't put off by the more flimsy materials. So I wouldn't count on the real ones being different...
