I think I'll first try selling fc, that way there is a chance that the selling of separates flows into the market by those buyers, and there are more people to buy from and define prices.

I'm not good at marketing at all so that may also be all wrong xD

The idea that it's better if you're not the only one selling separates so you don't have to define prices for them makes a lot of sense to me.
I don't know if it'll work out like you hope, either, but we can hope :D

it's worth a shot to try something, either of the ideas is better than not doing anything to try and help the kofk economy eh c':

Yeah :)
And as I already said - even if you don't manage to have a big impact on the economy, your donations will nevertheless help to keep the site up and running :)

win-win situation ~ plus even if I only so it a couple of times, that'll still be some people that will be happy with a good price for a fc c:

Exactly :)

I just took a long hard look at my inventory (or at least the tops and hairs) and listed a bunch of things that I had lying around but never really use much for sale in the market. Some of them for what I think are good prices, some that I am somehow still attached to for a bit higher ones, but at least there's stuff out there. All for food, only for the ones where I gave expensive buynows a FC as alternative. Because hey, if someone would rather pay that ;) But a lot of them just didn't have any or not very good stats, so I gave some middleground base price for the auction that I could live with selling them for and a really high buynow, because unless someone super absolutely has to have this and hates auctions, I'd rather the prices be determined by what people are willing to pay in the auction. Curious to see how much of it does sell.

I also find it hard to determine prices sometimes, the last sale can be so long ago for certain items and also sometimes the value listed is really not what I personally value an item as etc

the latter usually ends up in the buyer's advantage cause I end up thinking for example 'that much for an event item that I have 3 of??? no no this much will do' xD

Yeah, it can be super difficult. I had a bunch of items that just had no sales ever listed and I was like "dang, what do I do now?" :D

Yes that is really hard cause like, I don't want to decide a price for it that's why I'm using you @ market xD

Yeah, exactly :D I feel super let down by the market if it doesn't help me with the price. I'm so glad we have the market statistics now, I'd be so lost otherwise.
