My therapist encouraged me to make eye contact. It worked for a while but I don't really do it anymore.
He also told me to smile when talking to people because it shows I'm friendly.
I told him I don't like being forced to smile - I'll smile if I want to.
My choir teacher told us to look at the audience while singing.
She said look slightly above their heads because it looks like we're making eye contact but we're not.
I don't get being loud an obnoxious. I always try to be quiet and not disturb anyone.

My aunt is a different person to people who aren't us.
To them she's sweet and kind.
