I'm a bit odd. I'd seen KofK before joining Gaia, but I joined Gaia before coming here. :}

I used to be on Gaia but my craze for it lasted only four or five days at a time. KofK made me want to stay longer lol.

I only joined Gaia because several of my friends were on it and were always praising it.
Well I joined and I think within 3 months none of my friends even logged in anymore. Turned out I was so good at the games that I made gold way faster than them and had catch'd up on them so fast they lost there interest. :}

Hold it, are you saying that your friends lost interest because you caught up with them way too fast, or because they just got bored of the site eventually?

It seriously felt like the first, but they claimed it was the second.
Everything they did just made it feel like they had wanted to have me as a noob for way longer, though. :}

They told me it was a nice place where we could chat. Play games and they were lyrical about the towns and the house you could have there.
Someplace we could hang out even though we didn't live close to each other.

Just wondering, what do you think is the average age of people who visit sites like this?

Honestly. Gaia is an average age of 17, but KofK is a good 27. And that is from my experience of seeing peoples ages in threads. :}

i was on gaia way before that... i joined in the same year it started. haha. i'm so old... >.<

i have no idea about average ages anymore. i don't ask and i don't tell. i just say i'm old. XD

Oh of course there are people younger than that on those sites. There are also a whole lot older than that. And it is the people that stay that pull the average age up. :}
