So yesterday I was trying to help someone understand that a library and a book store were not the same thing. She told me to HUSH. I lost it lol.

Lmao... what?

She told me that a library was the same thing as a book store and got extremely mad because she felt like they were the same thing. The class they're taking is a sophmore class so it's not very hard UNLESS you don't know what a library or a book store is.

A library and a bookstore are NOT the same. For one thing, the functions are completely different lol. You can borrow books and other things at a library but you have to return them in the end or you have to pay a fine. A bookstore, you can buy and own a book. Also, I find that a lot of libraries are actually louder than bookstores lol. You’re supposed to be quiet in a library but I feel like all the libraries I’ve been in have a certain noise level. There might still be a kind of hush but I feel like they’re still louder than a bookstore. Now, if a bookstore also had an attached cafe, the noise level will be slightly higher but I find smaller bookstores tend to be super quiet unless they play some soft music in the background.

o3o.. what world is that person from.....? Library and Bookstores.. not the same.. hahaha...

i just thought it was strange too lol. XD both have such different functions.

I need to go sign up for a library card to get access to their digital library. ._. been here over 10 years and never once went to the library...

i haven't been to a library in years too. i wonder if my card is still valid. xD
