That's true. But she's looking to buy and trade for lots of CC items too! So now I'm on a CC mission to collect donuts for Julie's items :mcargh: :mcheh:

Oh, that's great!
I'm on my own CC quest, so I think I should save my donuts...
Specially because I don't think I can compete with you :qwhee:

LOL I've been spamming a lot eh :mcheh:

In a way, I'm glad that I'm not that keen on full color sets, so I'm pretty chill about what CC items I want for myself, this gives leeway to spend more energy on collecting for others :D

Idk if I can keep up this level of active-ness once school starts in September... fingers crossed X-X

Oh, I try to keep active on my forums, and that's it.
While the Caravan is away, I mean. Whenever it is around, I may try to post like crazy in the avatar games, because you can get a nice amount of donuts there even if nobody else is around to chat with...

I definetely won't be this active in September, more the reason to do my best now!

On another note, I got an appointment with an ear doctor today.
I can't hear from one of my ears since Friday afternoon, it seems like it's plugged up with earwax :mcblush:

Thank goodness for the avatar games /o/

Yeaaaaah I'm going back to uni this September to get my secondary education degree. Kinda scared to go back to school full time after years away LOL

Ooo is the plug just super deep? :O
I clean my ears myself regularly, but I've noticed that that's not really common in western countries

Whoa, going back to university? That sounds amazing!
How long will it be? Just one or two years, or you must do a whole degree from scratch?

Yes, I do clean my ears in the shower, it's certainly common here.
It's the kind of thing my mom always told me all the time when I was a kid, and the kind of thing I always go an about to my kid now. Because you can't really see it, but still that's basic hygiene.

Apparently it was suck on the eardrum :|
According to this doctor (my first time in the ear doctor) one of my ears conduct is thinner than the other one, so when a bit of water (from seabathing or even showering) got into that ear then it could not get out, hence overproducing wax.
I recall something like that being said to my dad, I should ask him next time I see him.

Btw my family is thinking about visiting soon...

It's a 11 month program that also has an in-school practicum included. Basically at the end I'll get the BEd degree as well as the official certification to teach in public high schools! :mcglee:

If I had been a smarter person who figured out what I wanted to do earlier, I could have done this as a dual degree with my previous uni degree... But alas I took the long road X_x

Clean ears in the shower? :OOO That's the first time I've heard of doing it that way. Is your ear wax the wet kind or dry kind? Mine is dry so I just use the scooper regularly whenever I feel like my ears are clogged.

Ahhh family visits, I'm guessing that's more stressful than exciting? ^^;;;;

Oh, but that's so cool!
You don't have to know what you are gonna do when you are 18, so many people even switch careers, but it's great that you still have such a good choice. An 11 month program sounds great, not too long either.

Doctors here recommend not to clean inside the ears, only outside. Cause you can harm your eardrum. So for cleaning outside the shower is more than enough!

I actually had to look up those scoopers, never seen one in my life.
So apparently what you said about westeners not cleaning their ears is kinda true, at least we don't do it in the same way...

Yeah, my relationship with my family is a bit messy, so having them around is always very stressful for me.
But it's great because my parents are bringing my nephew, and my son and he love playing together :mccute:

OH OH OH!!!
I just got the email telling me I got accepted into the IB education program too!!!
So basically while the 11 month BEd is a post-graduate program that gets you the teaching degree, the IB program is a bonus on top of that that you have to do an additional application for. By finishing this along with the BEd, it lets you teach IB classes and basically widens your career prospects greatly!
Ahhhhhh I didn't think I was able to get in because the spots are so so limited ahhhhhhhh QAQ

Ooo yeah that's a cultural difference then. Like there's a space between your eardrum and the outside that collects a lot of earwax, so it's good to clean around there. Of course you have to be very gentle and careful about it. Generally I find if I go a while without cleaning, so much wax builds up and it gets uncomfortable ^^;;;;;

Yay for your son at least! Hopefully the rest of the visit won't be too painful :mcheh:

Congratulations!!! :qn: :qn:

I had to look up the IB program though, cause I had never seen any of it.
Interesting though.

Yeah, it's not like their visits are (usually) too bad or that they are awful people or anything like that. It's just that I get too stressed about it :|
