You can adopt a villager and have them be an explorer until they're experienced enough to try other careers. So far that's all that seems available to do. Of course there are the shops but they won't be useful until one has advanced to the other careers.

You can explore every hour to get material by clicking on the explorer symbol in your villagers main page.
this also helps you get money.
Plus there is a thread for this place in the games forum. :}

By the way... do the villages you choose matter? I stuck between Quetzel Palace and Olde Foxbury. Also, the images are stunning!

I'm In Quetzal Palace.
And it does matter, apparently you have different materials you can collect and other potions that can be made by your doctors.
At first you are best to get some Explorers, they are the ones that can go out and get you things. Afterwards learning more and more villagers other jobs helps you get a good community.

And whenever people on here chat about other sites I always think ... why go on this other site when you can stay here!! XD
And when people have referrals I feel like joining the site just to help them out, and then never go on after like a week. But that's not a good thing to do.

Hm, this is weird... :l I signed up using Dream's code a few days ago, but I had to quit half way (while I was making my... avatar?). I tried going back today but it's not letting me? I tried to log in, but it says my username isn't in their records, and I tried signing up (again) but the username and email is already taken... Gah help me!

Wait... Did you try in with your Username or your email address, because when i logged in this morning the site asked for my email and not my name. :}
