Kingdom of Knuffel

Duh. I love Germans. I've never met one who wasn't nice to me. In Paris not a day went by without me having a fight with a Frenchman. Even in London I got to train my bad-mouthed English on Camden Market. But in Germany I've never had to. :o
Whenever you're staring at a map any random person walks up to you, asks you where you need to go, and they try to help you in their sunday English. Sometimes that gets on my nerves since I try to figure out things myself and really do not wish to speak in one of my own languages while I try to learn another, but they do it all with the best intentions and are really kind and patient while doing it.
When I wrote my application letters to companies in Berlin when I tried to get an internship there, I could perfectly tell the difference between the small German companies and the big internationals, purely from the way they ditched me. xD
Come on, they even made me root for their team in the soccer games while I hate soccer! It was just the enthusiasm with which total strangers told us when they had made a goal or everything. It just totally stole my heart. You guys are so adorable.
Even that drunk guy the first time I went to Berlin (also during the European Championships) was ridiculously funny about it.
I know perfectly well they aren't all like that. Surely there are also German asses out there. I just yet have to meet my first one. x3
Hmmm. Do you reckon I can get one as a pet? 8D

But almost every Dutchman I meet has this... nasty base. They can seem kind, but most of the time I have trouble believing it. We're all so fake. And the moment you're honest about something, you get kicked out. At the end of the day, we're all selfish and egocentered, mean and greedy, and we're only nice to tourists because we want to show the world how amazing we are and, of course, we can get their money.
Also again not all of them are like that, but I just really hate the general morale of the people here. You can tell me it's like that everywhere, but I just don't think it's true.

And Amsterdam is not Holland. It's a small country of its own.
Personally I get the chills from that place. Really sucks since I'll have to spend half a year of school there. xD

no the drivers in brussels were scary but london was the worst. OMG i took a taxi with one of the women on my trip so we could get back to our hotel from picadelie circus.
i now know were my mom developed the 'imaginary brakes'. (for those of you out there that dont know what that is. its where the passanger slams on imaginary breaks when the driver is driving like crazy in hopes that will somehow stop the car)

i swear if i was wearing boots my foot would have slammed those imaginary breaks through the floor of the taxie. if you remember the scene with teh double decker buses and the night bus from harypotter.. yea they really drive that closely! by the end of it i think i really looked like this ---->

lol not really, she was 24 when i was 12, but she told me how they met in a chat room of all things.
he builds computers r something so hes got a lottt of money, and i remember him flying here to the states every few months. He was always nice and sincere. He once overheard our moms talking about how tight money was and how mom wasnt sure if she could make ends meet that month and he slipped $300 into her hand and told her not to worry. My mom was so shocked she nearly fainted lol

Him and her are like my rl examples of true love. they met when they were 15 and when she turned 20 they got married and to top it all off, to keep from having to put her favorite cat down he paid to send it over to hollandto live with him
i say that is true love because this cat was EEEVVVVIIILLLLL. the reason they were suppoed to put it down was becasue it killed the german sheperd that lived down the street that would always try andchase her. (cat was a girl) that things eyes would glow red in the dark and on one of the videos he made of the cat it drug the elmo doll infront of the camera and gutted it then walked up and smacked the camera off the table. i had never been so scared of an animal in my life before then or ever since. if i had to choose between this cat and a crocodile i would choose the croc.. every time.

You sure you're talking about a cat and not a tiger? Cats don't kill German sheherds, even not the evil ones.

What you say doesn't sound like a German to me. Maybe you come to my hometown, I doubt anybody will talk English here voluntarily and people are unfriendly assholes, at least I often heard that of random people from somewhere else I wasn't willing to talk to <-unfriendly asshole

And yeah, being asked for weed gets really annoying, especially since I really use none of it myself xD
And try to pass security somewhere abroad. Checking my luggage somehow seems to take thrice as long than others' >>
And this one time on Lanzarote airport security even overlooked my ridiculously sharp diving knife in my handbag because she was too busy defragmenting my diving lamp searching for hidden bags of weed xD

Okay most of them don't speak English quite well, but a lot of them do try.
I'd love to visit your home town. I'd love to visit any German town and meet people there. xD
Sadly I'm never there long enough to do so. I would really have loved to go there for a long time, to live there for a few months or something, but I didn't get the chance.
I think I'm still gonna try to get a job at Lufthansa or Air Berlin or whatever though, so I could be based in Germany
