I love cultural stuff, but I usually ask my mom on trips like those, city trips with cultural stuff.

With 3 hyped boys, I found that trekking by bike is the BEST way. For us at least. No asking, questioning what to do, no plan, except a place where you need to end up and everything in between is just a surprise. Whether it's watching an F16 fly over, a traktor at work, cattle, sheep or goats. Maybe some birds, other critters. An ice cream of course or even better, fresh cherries they sell next to the road. We've seen so much and still... haven't done a lot. :) About 280km we did in 6 days so a little less than 50km a day.

The camp sites were also a pleasant surprise, I didn't really looked into them, just booked tiny wooden houses with 5 beds, but most had a huge sand pit or some water to play with, other kids. Just a lot to see and do for the kids as well whenever we arrived. :)

How old are your boys, Jolien?

Mine is quite a bookworm, as we are.
Quite lazier travellers :mclaugh:

Yeah I still don’t feel safe travelling anywhere. Like COVID hasn’t magically disappeared, even with vaccines people are still getting sick or dying and I’m just like “why travel?”

I am vaccinated, so is my husband.
But if you catch it, even if your symptoms are barely noticeable, you can still propagate it. So being careful is in order.

Still we are meeting with our closest relatives.
Only the kids are not vaccinated, so we are hoping this is a very small risk.

Yeah and that’s why it’s so scary. Because it’s so deadly contagious. D: my entire family is also fully vaccinated but I still don’t feel safe lol.

Hey, I have a dumb question. Does anyone know if there's a knuffel this year? Or am I finished with virtually water bombing peeps?

I haven't reached level 10 yet but given a lot of people already have and they haven't said anything about there being a pet.....I'm assuming there isn't one lol.

There are 2 pets! Go to store and click on "room items", they are hidden there. :D

And dunno, I am vaccinated, but life kinda started here. I don't really fear my kids and in this country there is just way more than enough vaccine, there are just many people who don't want it. Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about that. They're going to give out 3rd one's here, just 'cause so much is left over and because there are just too many facebook experts.

I honestly wish people would wine less, so people for who a vaccine could really 'cause trouble, would be more safe. And send more to countries where non is available. D:

I also just don't like locking myself up. :(

My boys are 5, almost 8 and almost 10. So lots of energy there. ;-D

Buut, holiday can also be to go some days out. A walk in the forest or just sit somewhere out in a park. It doesn't have to be traveling around the world.

The pets were mentioned in the announcement. They are for sale, 1 FC each, and they give you free points.

With those ages I'm sure there are lots of energy indeed, too much to lock up!

I don't know, there are many ways to enjoy one's free time.
I don't really judge other people's behaviour, I assume some people have different needs, but I admit that sometimes it's very hard to understand.
