They have similar words but they put different inflections on different letters. To add to that, in spanish you roll your Rs and in French there are a lot of silent letters that slightly change the pronunciation of a word.

Definitely. Which is why my French teacher called me out on my Spanish lol. Cuz she was teaching both. Pftttt

Pft right, of course she would. XD i just thought it was funny. My friend at the time also had the same problem pft. So we got told off together pft.

That's kind of funny. When I took Spanish it was a nightmare because the French accent and Boston accent would combine sometimes and my professor would just give me this look as if to say "that's not right"

lol hahah i don't think i have an accent but i do love to roll my Rs. my mom can't do it though hahahah. xD she can curl her tongue.....but like not roll Rs. xD

I can't roll R's either. That was one of many reasons why I had such a hard time with Spanish. Most of the peopkle I grew up with had an accent. Its funny now living in another state because sometimes it comes out and people look at me confused.

I weaponize mine now because if i"m angry at someone I go full Boston accent and they usually look terrified.
