i don't mind giving a kid a cellphone with no data or text... just emergencies. and then data and text comes when they can pay for it. XD

My son isn't getting a phone or tablet or computer
until he can buy one himself. 8u I'm already determined
not to let him have everything he wants, but he will
know how to use technology because that's necessary
nowadays. Unfortunately. xD

That seems like the best way to raise a kid.
I know my future kids will not get a phone straight up, yet I will look into other means of communication devices. as the society we live in make them necessary.
