I love the fact mostly because in most other languages there is only one word for the color. All they do there is add a word for it to say if it's light or dark. And in English that is already in the word itself. :}

@Rebecca: I will keep that in mind. I might end up needing some :)
@Nan: Yeah, indeed. :) But this way it makes me unique wearing such colors, lol xD
@Dream: So true! Though there are some words that mean the same and in other languages have two different specific meanings for it.

I'm currently learning Danish. And the times I come by words, that look, and sound, the same as either Dutch/English/German words, but mean something completely different, is the one thing that makes it hard. :}

That's like Spanish and English D: It's my third year taking a Spanish class, but I still mix some English sounding words to be that word -w-;

I know it's because of the interaction between the languages in history. It's just a bit annoying when you are trying to learn the language. :}

I can relate to that 'cause that happens many times with me xD
I am Hungarian but since I live in Romania I need to know Romanian, also I am learning in Romanian at my university, plus I speak English too..
Confusion comes in quickly.

It's especially confusing if languages are 'Sister' languages. They just look so much alike it makes it easier to switch up a word. :}
