Okay...so when I made this wild knuffel, it got rejected the first time for GLOWING affects on the final stage. So I removed the glow and moved on. Now there's two wild knuffels (the star wars ones) that got approved that HAVE A GLOW.

So now I want to know why mine was rejected the first time for having a glow and these ones weren't. I feel insulted; like mine wasn't good enough. That's really not fair because honestly, it seems like favoritism. Why can mine get rejected for small glowing affects but the others get approved for a large glow affect? :mcangry:

That's what it said in the PM. It had a glow and therefore couldn't be accepted.

ok,,, until I checked this page today I didn't even know glow wasn't allowed, I'll be more careful next time :mcheh:

edit

it says no glow around the knuffel. so maybe if the glow is related to objects that's acceptable? most of the light saber's glows is actually the effect of light added on top of the knuffel's clothes and hair directly.

I did put the glow on top...it was over the bracelets, anklets, and tiny stars...

But the star is a part of the tail, which is thus part of the knuffel. If its being emitted from the star like that, then it can be considered as the knuffel itself glowing.

It should be no glow period rather then none around the knuffel. Allowing one kind and not allowing the other is kinda dumb

I rather have some glowing for knuffels, being I've done it a few times my self.
I know you're annoyed, but don't make this into a big thing and ruin it for others.

Maybe she didn't realize the items on your knuffel were glowing. Maybe she saw it as parts of the knuffel were glowing on the outside. Sometimes things can look obvious to us, because we made it, but others see it all different. I've seen it happen a lot. X_x;
Or maybe she didn't like how the glow looked. I can see you have a touch of white in the glow, witch can make it look a bit odd. I tend to use the color or make it a bit brighter for the glow.

I'm just trying to see things the other way.

I know it can be frustrating to have a Knuffel rejected and sometimes under -What you think- are ridiculous reasons. But this is Firn's site. We should have fun. Your Knuffel did get accepted in the end and it is really cute. =3

I can say, glowing around the outer edge of the Knuffel's art would look bad and wouldn't in the Knuffel homes.

(Super sorry for the very late reply)
I am sorry you feel like your Knuffel being rejected was unfair - and maybe it was, but it was not done on purpose.
Iit is not really possible for me to apply any kind of rule to all Knuffel equally - I am only human, I am not a machine that can look at a Knuffel and rule out alll 6586754 possibel reasons for which I might have rejected a different Knuffel at some point. Yesterday I went through old Wild Knuffel because I was searching for one to fit an annoucement image and I found like 10 or 15 that had a glow somewhere and I was like "Why did I even allow this?" And honestly, I don't know. Maybe I did not even notice the glow. When starkad changed the layout of the site, he also changed some background colors and now my Knuffel submission screen has a different color, which makes it hard for me to see things like pixel outside the outlines and glows, etc. I would need to save each Knuffel and look at it on a different colored backgrounds in a graphic programm each time to make absolutely sure there is nothing (and it doesn't matter what color the background on the page is, because glow might have every possible color - Like, if my background is green and the person adds a green glow, I might not see it at once - if the bacground is white and the person adds a white glow, I might not see it. Etc.). It was a mistake, it should not have happened, and I am sorry about that. I do not know why so many Knuffel with glow went through my net, it was not done on purpose and it happens and it might happen again. Same goes for other rules. Sometimes a Knuffel might get approved where there is a stage that is rather dress up than evolve, while another Knuffel might get rejected for the same reason. I am not doing this on purpose and I have approved so many Knuffel by now that I cannot look at all of them and compare to what degree I allowed a small rule-breaking and what not.

(Also, the glow-rule was mainly just made because I had planned Knuffel room's from the start and was not sure how such glows would look when you place items around it. I couldn't preditct it properly, so I made a rule against it just to be sure. But there isn't really any other reason for this.)

Okay so someone told me if my knuffle was rejected twice, and it failed the third time, it was banned for good?
I admit I didn't read all the rules very closely the first two times but I have thoroughly now and redone the knuffel entirely.
Should I preview it to an admin first or just try to submit it again?
