Just picked up "Alloy of Law". It sounds kind of familiar? Hope it's not a duplicate.
We'll see when I get further into it.

Although no more tonight; time for bed.

The Alloy of Law is definitely something I have read before. But I don't see it anywhere in my house, must have gotten from the library the first time.

I finally started Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett's Good Omens, I'd been wanting to read it for so long!

Oh, I love that book! So many wonderful, wonderful bits of flavor and fun things and insightful observations in there!

I just finished The Golem's Eye, from the Bartimaeus series.

I finally went back to, and finished "The Sparrow".
Seriously mean to the characters, which I can obviously see serves the plot and is almost exactly the point, but still.


Then I needed something light so I reread the Dragonbones/Dragonblood duo by Patricia Briggs.
And then Jasper Fforde's "The Eyre Affair" for balance.

I'm reading Phantom of the Opera, New Moon, and Willow.

Just picked up an old classic...

"Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"

I'm always surprised, EVERY TIME I grab this book, that it's not by Heinlein or Clark or Aasimov, the ones I tend to think of as the 'classic' writers of that-era sci-fi. It's by Philip K Dick. And EVERY TIME I grab the book, I think, "I should look that author up".... and every time, every time, I forget.

But, yeah. It's been long enough, I don't remember much more than the vague outline. Which means, time for a re-read!
