Every time I think that and I end up not posting at all until the CC comes back.
One day maybe I'll have more motivation.

One day soon, right? Is how I feel some days

I think everyone has some of those days.
It also work that way for home improvement projects. And sometimes I have so much motivation I burn out on house stuff XD

My vacation time was declined bc apparently i’ve already used it? Even tho it says on my company hr website that i still have some. And i was trying to book time off to go to the bahamas in october. Everything’s been booked, the airbnb, the plane tickets…8u

Miiiight wanna go in and ask about that discrepancy in person, with the evidence that shows that you still have it

Well, best check-in with your boss sooner rather than later, if you've already booked everything. Get everything on track as soon as possible, basically.

Moon Star is right, you should check asap. It's only going to get worse.
I once asked for time off months in advance and trusted my boss to remember and ... she didn't.
I nearly couldn't go because the *censored* couldn't be bothered to check the planning (which she was supposed to be responsible of but that ended up my job somehow) and see that yes of course everything is covered so I had to run away personally to HR (in another building) to get my vacations approved the day before I was scheduled to leave.

Well its in october so its several months away. I don’t care, either way, i’m going. XD if i don’t get that vacation days (if for some reason they were already used and wasn’t updated in the system), then i’m still going to go, it just won’t be paid.

Anyways, meh. As long as its not decided at last minute, i have time.
After all, if someone managing retail who’s been here for less time than i have can go on a month long absence, i don’t see why i can’t leave for 5 days. XD

Because sometimes bosses don't think like us? ^^
I'm serious, even if it's not right away you should still ask quickly
