And the weather has been a bit cray lately. Bc of the wildfires. Got some pretty smoggy skies as a result.

@Hotarla, yeeeeah, the wildfires are freaking awful. Air quality plummeted for a good while, but thankfully it rained really recently, which helped.

Otherwise, HI EVERYONE.

Oh yeah, I'm in the area hit by it, but I'm lucky enough that I only got it lightly. I don't think the AQI in the area ever reached 200 (highest I saw was ~180? Maybe ~160), but go east about an hour and the sky was orange like goddamn

oh yeah def, it was kinda creepy to see the sky cloudy from the smog several days in a row. and i could even smell the smoke at one point.

i saw images of NYC and Toronto. it was just....yellow and orange. aaaaaah. scary.

Yeaaaaaah, I didn't pay that much attention to the AQI myself, but I know at some point it was like, 150 or so, but I think that was more in the city? I'm lucky that it never got too bad where I'm at. All the pictures I saw of the orange skies were wild, though.

i only paid attention to the AQI because i was reading news articles about it. and then there was a link to the AQI. and then i saw what the quality was at that time and was shocked at how high they were.

The iPhone weather app gives you the AQI. I've never had to use it much but I sometimes look at it in the summer because if it's bad it doesn't help my heatstrokes.

That being said, I hope everyone's OK.
Seeing the pictures, it looks pretty scary.

i haven't really noticed if it does give AQI. i have an itouch so it also has a weather app and i check it every day. although i haven't noticed AQI, just when there's a special weather announcement.

Where I lived the AQI peaked around 240. Being outside felt like sticking your face right next to a campfire. Even my eyes hurt.
