Today I woke up with no fever. I'm not feeling great but good enough already.
I did not go to work though, I had these evaluation sessions (ie meetings where each student is discussed one by one) but I stayed home and told my colleagues to phone me with anything. Only needed to phone me twice, so I guess it's good I stayed home.

If I feel better I'll be grading the last exams today. Finally.

Yesterday I finished grading, now I have all the paperwork ahead. And not feeling perfectly yet :|

Also.
If that was not enough, we are rebuilding the bathroom and we'll have the workers here on Monday first thing.
It's gonna be a hell of a week!

Congrats on finishing grading! One step closer to the finish line XD

Eek, house renovation sounds super stressful. Hopefully it goes smoothly! How're you rebuilding the bathroom? :)

Oh, well, we hired someone to do the work, because we have zero knowledge about it all.

When we bought this flat four years ago we knew we had to replace the stuff in the bathrooms. Bathtube enamel broken, cheap metallic stuff all rusty, etc.
We'd been postponing it long enough, just because it means having the house upside down.
But we found this company which seems very serious and is reasonably priced and decided we would do it the last week of June because the classes are over now. Son could spend a few days with his grandparents and that would make the whole situation much easier.

But we got covid.
Won't be sending my son with his grandparents, of course. Although grandma got it too - she was the first of us who had symptoms - I'd rather not give them extra work now.
So now we have to work, still being unwell, and probably carry our son to one of our workplaces... only to return home and find everything extremely dusty.
*sighs*
Such a bad timing!

Fingers crossed that things won't be too chaotic this week! D:

Chaotic it will be.
We have to work tomorrow, can't leave the kid alone at home with the workers and can't leave him with his grandparents... so my hubby is taking him to work ^^;

But hopefully it won't actually rain, and at least we'll get to be outside as much as possible - instead of hearing the work noise all the day long.

Well, we have the best luck with my parents in-law. :qh:
They invited us for lunch and we can be in their place in the afternoon, so it's a bit easier on us.

So our son went with my husband to work today in the morning, since he hard the shorter schedule. Tomorrow he'll come with me.
It's boring for him, of course, since we can't pay him any attention. But luckily he enjoys reading so much!

He don't have work in the afternoon.
We left him with his grandparents and came back to our apartment to check on the workers, case they needed something, etc.
It seems like they are very efficient, at this point our bathroom has been completely removed. Now they are working in the plumbing. Hell of a noise, I wish I stayed with my son :mclaugh:
