Yeah, Tanukis look a bit like really fluffy raccoons :D

Boars are really dangerous! Especially when they have rookies. I once took a walk with a friend in a forest and we saw a boar with her rookies a few hundred meters ahead of us. Immediately walked the other way and made sure the boar didn't see us.

Aaaw, that makes a lot of sense!

Yeah, rookies are baby boars. I looked it up and apparently that's what they're called in english xD In german it's "Frischling" which roughly translates to "Fresh one".
