We have a hard time growing saplings cuz the deer eat 'em and then the rabbits finish 'em
Deer did sample my Japanese maple once but have avoided it since

I’m glad I don’t get deer in this complex. It’ll be cool but there’s also high fences here lol.

My parents had to put wire all around their garden because the deer kept eating the sprouts and leaves.

I had foxes trying to eat the chicken but that’s about it. The deers and boars didn’t come that close to the houses so it was a relief.
Also I am on a trip but the caravan is here. I can’t post as much as usual but I am very glad I am up to date.

Nearly drove over one once. Sucker decided to run out right in front of me. No thump, so I didn't but goddamn I was close

Heya!
I'm glad I live in a region where wild animals don't run on the streets that much. The worst for me was a frog I ran over years ago.
But I have friends that live in a region where they need to protect their garden from wild boars because otherwise everything would be ruined every night.

We had a frog get stuck to the front bumper of the car for months. Still don't know when it got stuck, nor when it finally fell off

They won’t attack you if they’re healthy. They don’t like humans much. If you see one and you feel it’s too close it’s sick and you definitely should go away.
I have never heard of anyone attacked by a fox but you never know.
The wild boars are dangerous.
Also you wouldn’t believe it but wild life is pretty present in big cities, they just hide really well. I know we have at least tanukis and raccoons in central Tokyo.

Tanuki are real critters? I thought they were mythological!
