I just put my hair up on my pillow so I'm not sleeping on it... as right now the length is to my boobs

Do you find that that's long enough for the hairstyles you like to do?

I have extremely thick curly hair. Right now my hair is about 2 cm long. Lol. It's too difficult for me to care for at the moment so I just buzzed it all off.

But golly gee do people stare when you don't fit their gender norm standards.

Oh, yes, I remember when my college roommate shaved off all her hair and spent each day with a mirror decorating her scalp in a mandala-like pattern. The things people said about her! (and about me, for defending her, but really!)
People are allowed to be whoever they want to be, so long as it's not harming anyone else, bless it, why were they all so fussed about it?
I thought she had a lot of gumption, putting up with that all the time without blowing a gasket.
Do you get a lot of comments, too? Or do they mostly just confine themselves to staring?

I think my country got a little more open towards hairstyles and outfits. Sure, the old people still stare and whisper, but the younger ones might give you a glance, but they don't care. At least from my experience.

well I can get it styled but at most I just put it up in a messy bun I wear at home or ponytail..

River, aren't buns handy? Do you have hair that holds well or does yours fall out of the bun a lot and you have to keep repinning it back up?
