Well, you mostly get it in larger quantities than you need for just one injury. I'm not sure I've ever seen it sold in single-use amounts.
So about $5 for a couple of larger-sized pads of it. Then you cut the pads up and use them as you need them, and one package of moleskin usually lasts me about three or four years.

ha ha, I should mull up some cider for us here at home, at least we could do that. It's not the same but it's still fun and delicious.

I hope you will get well soon, red!
Chrizine, yes, studs as in earrings :) They are that kind of rosé gold and round, that's all :) Very simple :)

Sounds nice, simple is usually what one ends up wearing the most since it fits with a lot of outfits :)

I had my ears pierced in 1999, but missed playing with smooth earlobes, and took them out so they'd heal over.... still to this day they haven't gone back to being smooth. Sigh. I don't think much of the place that pierced them. At this point maybe I should go somewhere and get them redone so at least I could wear earrings.

Hm, maybe you should just get them redone then, yeah.
I don't have pierced ears. I don't know if I'd miss playing with my earlobes if I got them pierced... Never thought of that possibility, actually :D

I didn't either. Wish I had, though!
It was a foolish impulse, and I've regretted it so often since then. On the other hand, that experience has helped me resist other foolish impulses so there is that.
(I don't regret chopping off half my hair though. My new firm rule of "keep it above the waist" has worked out really well for me. I don't want it super short, it's usually hovering around my waist, but I don't miss the problems that came with really long hair.)

Ah, I'm pretty sure that's a thing I'd absolutely regret! But then again, I don't feel too bothered by the additional length, really. I mostly wear it bunned anyway.
Hm, there's probably worse foolish impulses to fall for than piercing your ears, so maybe it's not the worst way things could have gone for you.

ha ha, you speak pure truth!
It is fun to have that kind of length to play with, yeah. I just am not careful enough to get away with it otherwise. I suspect I'm going to have to go shorter yet at some point here, though. As I get older my hair is thinning and that's a problem, and it looks worse when it's longer. Sigh. Pity about that...
