Aw Akili, I am sorry to hear about that, I hate when that happens with dishes one loves :( Is there a way to buy a supplement for the broken one?
(also sorry to hear you have bruises from that now :( )

Yea I think everyone thinks about the christmas market there first :D
But they are everywhere now. I like that there are different areas there, e.g. one for children, an international part etc., that was new to me :)

I know ._. Saturday was not the best idea, but it was the only day which worked for us..

Awww, too bad about the glass! But it's nice that you'll at least get a funny story out of the way it broke.

From what my dad said, it's much better on weekdays - which makes sense to me, since it's a famous market where people come from father away over the weekends (like me :D). He has been there in the last week before, so I trust his judgement. And also, I'm just doing it because I didn't want to go before that deadline on the 17th :D If it's less crowded that's just a nice side-effect for me :)

Oh yes, the Partnerstädte (international) part is lovely! And the Kinderweihnacht, too. I used to go there as a kid myself, last year I got to take my nieces there :)

Of course such events are better to be visited during the week, not on weekends. Makes sense :D
I hope you'll have a great time :)

I also bought a nice pair of studs :)

I stepped on my iPad stand and it tore skin. Hopefully it won't bleed or get infected. I couldn't find any bandaids and I'm afraid to walk on it because it might bleed and ruin the carpet

Thank you, I'm sure I will!

Studs as in earrings? I wasn't sure what that word means and leo.org is also giving me Manschettenknöpfe as a possible meaning, but that seems less likely ;)
What do they look like? :)

Aw, I hope it's not deep red! Maybe just sit down for a bit and keep the foot up so you can watch for any blood coming out and wait for it to crust over?

I only see pink so I don't think it's deep. How long would that take to crust over because I have to walk

Well, if there's no blood you can see then there's no crusting over to happen. Maybe press on it with your hand a bit to see what would happen if you step on it?

I see no blood but it looks black

black? Like a black bubble? I've seen that before when I accidentally pinched my skin really hard in something, I think that's just blood collecting under the skin.
