For the majority of my life I've lived in a place where the leaves change on trees and the one year I didn't everything felt not right to me.

There was one year I lived in Florida and the leaves don't change there. It was the only year I didn't have true seasons and I hated every second of it.

Yeah it a tropical climate and the temperature does drop a little in the winter but it does from like 100 degrees F to like 70 so its not that big of a drop at all. Sometimes it goes lower but usually only for a few days at a time. They do get hurricanes though.

That’s what I thought. Florida is near the equator isn’t it? Which is why it’s tropical and the temps don’t really dip too low. I don’t remember, my geography is sketchy lol.

Yeah they're pretty close to the equator. They also boarder the gulf of Mexico which is all warm water.

Where I live, the trees don't change color either. Or maybe it would be more accurate to say that some trees do but they are a tiny percentage of trees that people might have in their yards that aren't native to the area. More than the trees don't change color here, it's that we don't have the kind of trees that even would!

Yeah it all hot and tropical in Florida which means their trees never change leaf color. Its boring. Also a lot of the people who live down there are super rude. I feel like everyone there needs to experience the bone chill of winter every now and again to feel humbled.
Also that's fair there are a lot of trees that don't change color. We have some evergreens around me that never change color.
