Depends on the lore but a lot of the time magi are different to magicians I think

So what are the main differences? Do they both still use magic?

I don't see a difference either
So I would be interested in that as well :D

Aren't magi more religious magic?

According to their word roots, Magi is the plural of Magus, who were priests thought to have supernatural powers.
The term Magician is applied more to performers, powers or illusions or not.

Yeah, magician has more of a performer sound in my ears :o magi sounds mystical x3
