Yeah, right before Christmas isn't the best time for playing games, I guess
I'm also excited. Though I'm even more excited seeing the weather feature. It adds a lot of variety to the game. And the snow animation is really beautiful
And there are also new raids, with gen 3 pokemon!

Got my Absol!!! Super excited about it, too! Absol's one of my favorites. I wish they weren't raid exclusives though. I'd love to be able to catch them in the wild.

Oh, congratulation! I also really like Absol. But I haven't seen any raid for it around.
There are also new legendary raids. I've already been able to catch Groudon - there are so many of these raids around me, I think they've made them appear so frequently to let many people catch them, since they won't be always available...
The weather feature is very nice, but there aren't many 3 gen pokemon around me, instead I see a lot of previous generations pokemon that I haven't seen much before. It's pretty funny...
I also get a feeling there's a bigger variety in raids... I still often see a raid I haven't seen before. And there's still more, since I haven't seen a raid for Absol yet

I really like the new weather feature, too! I'm seeing a lot more fire types with all the sunny weather we're having here.

I keep trying to get back into this cute game like I did on release, but sometimes travel is pretty hard for me, so I feel like I run out of essentials (pokeballs) very fast. I hate the feeling of being pushed towards microtransactions too :c
Has anyone else experienced this as a turn-off?

Kinda. Not especially for pokeballs, but for bag space and Pokemon storage. That's where most of my gym earnings go. I need to increase my Pokemon storage yet again with all the gen 3s I'm catching.
Haven't made a Groudon raid yet. It's been too darned cold out there to do much raiding!

I make enough via gym earning to actually have trouble, work doesn't allow me to raid though.
And since I only keep one of each pokemon space isn't limited *sweats over herd of touros*

I had this problem only when I had a really small bag space. I've managed to make it really big, as well as my pokemon storage, also through gym earnings.
Having a gym that I can acces from home also helps... Though during the week I return so late I don't manage to participate in any raid anyway...
