yea it doesn't work for everyone. or I think it can work differently for everyone. maybe tracking is not really what you need it for, but rather recommendations or reading groups?

I don't use either of those, except sometimes peripherally in that I'll be looking up reviews of a book so I can see if it's in first person and the search engine will link me to a review on Goodreads, most commonly.

I have goodreads, but I barely use it... Maybe I should do that more in 2019 as it is quite helpful and interesting :)
jacob, you have to tell us about bookbub as soon as you're read about it :D

Me too :D I got into a good habit of tracking now. I didn't do too well before I started my reading goal, which motivated me to track everything so it added up to the goal. Maybe that will help for you.

a university course, or online course, or something else entirely?
An online course. A pretty expensive one D: I'm kind of worried about it panning out, I really hope the investment pays off because I pretty much couldn't afford it. I felt like I had to do something though, to increase my future earnings so I'm not always in the same place.

I love Goodreads.
I finished a book called Mad Mad Monday. It's a juv book that I've had for like 25 years but don't remember ever reading. It was pretty awful!
