I like loud music and things sometimes, but I can totally get your situation with music in the car because I keep my volume at like a quarter of what the max is and even lower when people come in.

I usually save all my anime watching for the weekend. With the occasional stream with online friends during the week for anime.

Sometimes though, I might put some Cantonese or English drama or whatever and use it like ambient music.

I usually wait to binge watch anime on the weekends. But haven't been really able to do that for like 10 months. Actually most shows I really wanted to watch I haven't been. Because someone would bother me and when I really get into a show I don't want someone bothering me.

Sometimes I can do loud music, if it's what I want or the song is good. lol. For my brother's wedding, they had a party bus for the wedding party. And they just kept increasing the volume up. There was 30 minutes where we just drove around because it wasn't time to go to the reception. I was not happy about that tbh.

I think I'd lose my mind trapped on a loud party bus.

Same, that sounds like hell. Like, a party bus in of itself sounds kinda awful, ngl.

And I generally listen to my music (YouTube playlists, lol) fairly loudly when I'm working, because it makes it like more of a background noise than if I listen to it softly, and allows me to block out whoever else is in the house (y u speak so loud). Otherwise, I only listen to my MP3 when I'm walking or in the car, and have to switch the volume up or down all the time depending on the song's quality, lmao.

Yeah, loud areas you can't escape from are the worst

yeah true that. when it gets too overwhelming, i just sit and just people watch. and people watching at a convention is awesome because everyone's dressed up and when you see a costume you like, you can go up and ask for pictures and noone will think its weird or wrong. xD

Yeah, and if people understand that you sitting while in cosplay means you're not up for pics (or are extremely polite about asking), being in one yourself is great too
