Oh but sweetie, I've used feet like that ages ago, I mean, look at Hudsonia.

And if I should kick everyone for using feathers I'd have to keep kicking. Those are just bird features. :')

By the way Cyan, now I look at it. The legs in the final stages look an awful lot like Hudsonia. I mean, those 'pants', and then the thin legs and at the end of those thin legs his claws. Mind telling me why that is? 8U

What I actually find a tad bothersome is that suddenly, all the mermen start evolving smiliar to what I did with zoth. Or that might be my paranoia head.

Might be. I mean, there's not many ways you can make a certain kind evolve. You can't make a bird without feathers, as much as you can't make a merman without a fish tail. And there are only so many ways to do that. There are already hundreds of Wilds made so it's just inevitable that people are gonna have the same ideas, be it a coincidence or stolen.

I found it so funny when, after I had made my first magpie, and Vin had too, she came running to me to say how sorry she was she had 'stolen' my magpie idea and how she just hadn't known that I had made one.
First of all I was very happy she did because if she hadn't done it herself I'd have begged her to do it. Second - it's a bird created by nature! How can you call that a stolen idea? :p

I think people are being a bit too para about that sometimes. There's nothing wrong with being inspired by each other, right? As long as the result contains mostly your own creativity... at least, that's my view on it.

So if they get inspired by your idea? Be proud of it, people love your idea so much that it inspires them, you were the first to use it, that's recorded everywhere. ;D

I know I might be to paranoid, but sometimes I have the feeling.. Yeah, I started it.. but no one actually gives me a thank you for the idea.. It started a long time ago with a game, I started saying a thing and no one used it in that time.. And after a year when I came back.. EVERYONE WAS USING IT! I know I was one of the billion players, but it felt as if no one knew its history. But this was just a tiny spark..

I am happy that I actually inspired someone.. Because honestly, that actually never happened to me.
