By traveling back, the rules are that your future will not have a 100% chance of being exactly the same. Or maybe there's events that are inevitable but you'll know about them, but details can change. Hmm

and you can change the past as many times as you want, so that the future changes as many times? sounds chaotic

Likely a limit to how many times one can go back, just to keep from reliving the experiences
