Hi everyone, how's it going. If I was named after a season mine would be yuki cause I love winter. :qh:

I could be named after anything but summer as I'm really not a summer person. :}

It's not that I really dislike Summer, it's more that Summer doesn't agree with me. :}

nocturnal miyu wrote:well, the name natsume is summer but here are all the seasons:
spring = haru
summer = natsu
autumn = aki
winter = yuki
so usually names that have those characters in them are related to the seasons.
i like summer, but we don't really have a true summer here...

and i quoted that cuz i wanted to correct it:
winter = fuyu
snow (which is associated with winter) = yuki

Haha, I'd be Fuyu then. Fuyu Yuki.

Ah thank you for clearing that up, have corrected in my notes. :}
One question when written in Japanese is the yu in fuyu the same symbol as in yuki?

in hiragana yes, but fuyu is actually just one kanji (chinese) character, and so is yuki.
冬 = ふゆ = fuyu
雪 = ゆき = yuki

Put those down in my notes as well. :}
Could I ask you to also put down the Kanji and hiragana of the other three season. :)
