i'm not very fond of the backgrounds actually i was expecting something different (?) but i absolutely love the tops and also the new hair colors! am i going crazy or are they the same from the halloween 2020 event but with new patterns? in any case i absolutely love the colors! i can't wait to get the orange ones

The halloween items do tend to be a bit similar from year to year but I think last year's hair was a bit more curly, less big. They really are similar though...

I don't own the '20 items, but looked them up in the wishlist.
They do look very similar to me.
Only that '20 hair had one color, while '21 has those locks in another color.
And we have more versions too

oh you are right! they do look pretty alike but the hairstyle is a bit different especially on the sides. i'm very glad we got something similar though, it's such a great hairstyle

The wings are also a bit similar, though not enough to confuse them. I guess there are only so many ways you can draw Halloween themed wings.

I would put holes in the wings to make 'em look rotted... but I'm a zombie fan, so... *shrug*

And you can make them smaller, larger, back wings or headwings, etc.

I just think that maybe Firn designed similar items on purpose.
It's not uncommon reading user saying "oh, I love this item, I wish it was avaliable in this other color".
If she gets that kind of feedback maybe she offers a similar item in other colors?
That would certainly explain the similarity.

That's definitely true. Though I always like it when the events are very unique in theme. I know there was a Halloween with bloody nurse items and that unusual pirate ship we had to explore. I think that event was a long time ago, though.

Oh, I remember the pirate ship, it was a cool event.
But I suppose it's hard figuring out unique events three times a year...

Anyway at this point we have plenty of items which look like others.
We now have these blank eyes, but there were other blank eyes before.
The blush was once a very unique item but several ones were released after it.
There are many eyes that are very similar to older ones.

I think it's hard doing otherwise, and also new members would appreciate it.
