Erm...I want to make a wild Knuffel too but I don't know how to make a transparent background.... TT^TT pls help.

If you tell us which art program you have on your computer to process images we can help you better. Things often work differently in different images.

I am afraid I do not have SAI and don't really know how it works, but hopefully someone using that program can help you out. I think I have at least read several users mentioning that they use SAI.

If you have a um.. "free" copy of SAI. from what I know you can not save transparency. What I do is save a Photoshop file (PSD) and save it out of there.
Other wise payed version it should just be Transparent. Thats what it was like with mine when I used the full version.

I looked up what completely free art programs can save transparency and it looks like Gimp is one of them, so maybe you want to look into that:
