Love it, own it, started my obsession with Hayao Miyazaki movies!

The only think I am sad about is that Chihiro loses her memories. I feel that she also has lost some of the character growth that she acquires throughout the movie because of it. Plus, if Haku ever visits her, she won't recognize him or remember him. That's sad...

Spirited away is really an amazing story! Very original and creative!
I've only seen it a few days ago, but I'm certainly going to watch it again!

The studio Ghibli Films, especially these of Miyazaki aren't really limited to Anime Fans, there's a reason Disney publishes them in a non J-culture hype style.
personally I don't care about Anime, Western Animation or Live action, usually they all suck the same. But Hayao Miyazaki and to a lesser degree Isao Takahata from Studio Ghibly are among the few that know how to handle animated pictures, classy enough to keep up with good printed media.

Okay... let me think...
I've seen Spirited Away, Ponyo, Totoro, Mononoke Hime, The Cat Returns, Howl's Moving Castle, Ghiblies and On Your Mark. I loved all of them. I still want to see Kiki, Arietty, Pom Poko for sure. I'm not very sure about the others.
I've seen Summer Wars too by the way. It's not from Ghibly, but the director used to work for Ghibly I heard

I have seen several of these movies. I think they're very original but they're a little bit long.
