But I've been doing it for long enough to feel confident in most situations.

My sister still doesnt drive on the highway, she prefers going local even tho highways save time. XD

I don't mind highways at all.
Actually I think the worst is driving in a city, where there is so much going on at the same time and you need to be extra focused.

My sister likes driving on smaller roads. XD she’d literally take the long way around as long as she skips the highway lol.

I don't care about speed, I'm more worried about having to pay attention to many things.

iunno, maybe she's afraid of both? like all those cars just wooshing by, having to pay attention to so many things.....might be stressful?

I'm most afraid of asshole drivers on the road OTL
I've been driving to and from work and school in the past months so I've gotten more comfortable on the road. But like, you never know when a moron is gonna decide to speed or disregard rules and cut you off etc etc...
Once I was changing lanes after making a left turn, did all the checks the path is clear, signaled way ahead of time. And then when I went to turn this car just ZOOMED from behind me out of nowhere. Thank goodness that another car behind me honked really loud at it so I was able to also brake in time. Scared me so much ahhhhhh......

I've been driving for 23 years now, so I suppose you kinda get used to it?
I mean I still don't love driving, but you start to feel more comfortable and safe as you get more practice.
There is always a chance something bad happens of course.
I did have a car crash in 2009, which was quite an scare to be honest... But after a while even that unsafety feeling disappeared as well.

the area were i take my bus is SO dangerous. there's a side road branching out from the main road and then right across from this side road is a tim hortons. so people just STOP in the middle to try to turn into the tim hortons, or they stop to turn into the side road and then people are just ZOOMING past and like there's these two stoppage areas and they like totally don't care. 8u its so scary to see those cars just zooming with no care in the world.
