Okay, this is a bit of a subject change, but do any of you have any tricks for bracing bookshelves that are starting to bow in the middle?

Replace the boards or get metal brackets like these ones?

Mmm, these are bookshelves inside of bookcases. I'll have to see how difficult it would be to take them apart and replace the shelves (they're not the kind where you can change the level of the shelves; those would be fairly simple to replace).

Is it solid timber? cause I can imagine that'd be hard to fix up.. I have a solid timber book case.
