Why do you think mom's generation is called 'baby boomer' generation. Families had competitions on how many kids they could have. >:D (not really why, but its a good explanation half the time)


Who would pop up 10/13 kids to compete with their siblings. =3= wtf

Oh, well, we don't use expressions as "baby boomer" or "Gen Z" here in my country.
But even so it's true people used to have way more children.
I think (here) it was mostly because contraceptives were against the religion mind of the time...

I never understood the whole gen z thing.. but the baby boomer thing makes good jokes when it comes to my family.

Here i think it was more of a religious thing of "god said have lots of kids" or something... so my grandmother and her sister competed...

Hey, I wanted to have kids.
I would have not minded having another one actually.
But having a dozen kids is just too much. You spend your life being pregnant and giving birth and taking care of babies, and never have any sort of life of your own.
It was sad.

I can barely stand the pain my IBS puts me through.. I'd probably die if I had to give birth. x-x I'll pass on having kids.

I think someone once called me a boomer. 8u like I was born during the age and then they called me that. And I was like “huh?”

I think I'm a millennial...? I'm what's killing the world apparently. o3o

I've always found that kind of labels kinda silly.
All generations are different, I'm pretty sure medieval kids also thought their parents were dated
