I doubt that.
But I buy the prepackaged kind all the time, because I don't want them
to be stale. I don't eat them that often, you know? So I keep the
packs in the cupboard for months at a time until I want some. >>

I don't really eat Mochi like that. Only Mochi Ice Cream.
I devour that shit. <<

Mochi (餅?) is a Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice (not to be confused with gluten) pounded into paste and molded into the desired shape.

Oh cool. Never had any before. I wouldn't mind to try it tho. Is it like a sweet snack?

Yeah, they're sweet. I think they have red bean paste inside.
At least the ones I had did.
But I tried to put ice cream in them and it melted.
But it still tasted good.

I bought them at an Asian market out of town.

But you can make your own.
I made some dango before.
You just have to be able to find the rice flour at the store.

sorry to ask but what are dango's? Are they sweet?

Dango is a Japanese dumpling made from mochiko (rice flour), related to mochi.
They too are sweet.
January's Troth(?) item was dango.
