Usually yes. But I'm not sure if I want the Catwoman one or not. I do and I don't.

Well, there's this month's catwoman. And that's one of those copyrighted superheroes, too, isn't it?
So... I think if it's different enough and called something else it would count as parody or some other fair use?

But, yes, I think you are right. It would have to be her own take on it.

That's always true, though, because it has to fit the aesthetic and color schemes of KofK.....


You could also always put up a "wild knuffel bounty" where you offer a prize if someone can create a wild knuffel that is unique enough to avoid copyright and still be a tribute!

That could work if she makes it original enough. I would just be wary of getting into a copyright war with nintendo. They can get scary.
