I'm doing good. A bit worn out still from my nieces spending a couple days here. But now I'm getting annoyed with my sister. I help her out all the time, but she never says anything about watching my daughter for a few hours on the weekend for me. So I have just informed my parents we are not having the girls over without my sister until she returns the favor. Or unless there's an emergency.

Have you asked her to watch your daughter? Maybe she just hasn't thought about it. I know sometimes I forget to be thoughtful about people. I'm slowly getting better at it though.

Oh I've stopped asking. She comes up with to many excuses as to why not. Though right now the doctors have told her she can't do much traveling because she may give birth between this month and September 2nd. Apparently he might be premature. So I can totally understand that. But this last winter vacation for the kids, I asked her too, and at first she was "Oh sure. I'll have Joslyn over soon." Didn't hear from her for three days. I asked after then and "Oh I'm busy, but soon." Never happened. I'm tired of asking. She should offer. She hasn't watched my daughter for me since Joslyn was two or three? Maybe one? I really can't remember and Joslyn is now seven.

Joslyn will be out for the summer soon. The 22nd is her last day. Then next year she goes into second grade. I'm a sad mommy.

So you've all probably heard people online saying they messaged the wrong person and they had a funny conversation or something. Well it happened to me. I didn't know I didn't update my brother's cell number and so I texted him that I needed him to come home early because he had the van and I needed to go after my daughter who threw up twice at school. I texted the number and I said that I needed him to come home with the van because I needed to go get Joslyn. He asked who it was and I thought my brother didn't have my number saved and I said Your sister. Mother of Joslyn. Thinking he missed the first time I mentioned Joslyn. Well it turned out it was now some random guy's number. And I apologized to him and he asked what was wrong with Joslyn and I said she threw up at school. So he said well tell your daughter some random guy hopes she feel better soon.

Isn't that sweet? A total stranger being that nice. It's cool that there are some people out there who do care even if they don't know you.

Yes she is. Turns out the dingy doctor should have just prescribed her cough syrup. We had to borrow a few bucks from a family friend, but the cough syrup Grandpa bought is doing her a world of good. She's not coughing as much or has hard. In fact so far since she came home she has only coughed maybe twice?

My daughter's teacher created computer discs for each student with pictures she had taken of them in class or on their field trips. In Joslyn's case many of the images show just her or her with another person or group images. There's a couple of me with her too.

I asked my daughter what she'd do if her crush Johnny wasn't in her second grade class. She replied she'd still love him. XD
