so.. I decided to send in DNA to Ancestry.com in hopes to get some info on my father's side of the family.

So I'm here on Ancestry.com, and I noticed... My grandmothers family, its been filled out so well that I can trace back to the 1480's in the one line.

My granfather? stops with him.. =w= like wtf.. I know his parents existed because mom loved her grandma and always talked about them.. So how the heck is it that there is no hints about this man? x'D

And my sister April.. she has it set that mom was married to her father. They weren't.. not even in the common law way. Like dude... don't lie =/ He dumped mom the moment she got pregs and wanted NOTHING to do with you... they didn't live together cause your nana didn't allow it..


SOOO many germans on my grandmother's side. a few Brittish from Essex and some other place.. but mostly germans.. some dutch... saw someone from prussia or something like that... oh and switzerland

No irish or scottish.. someone said we had that in us. Prolly from gramps' side that is somehow missing

No native american in that "Snell/Schnell" side of the family.. so that was a lie =/ unless its one of the ones that have no parents recorded, so their line stops in the 1700s... o3o


Other than mom's divorce documents from my father, there is NOTHING that leads me to any of his family.. >:x so dna test is my only option.

My uncle Guy II has grandfather's proper info on his tree, so I got the great grandparents info and so on.
Though i think someone put his brother or something up as his father.. or something because my great grandmother was listed as his... grandmother or something? I sent you pics on discord xD it got confusing. I had to re-do that branch for my personal tree.



I tried looking for more info on my own father. nope. xD
