Audriella - That's rough, homes.
I can usually get in and out of a car. Sometimes I get the intense pain and have to take a minute. But usually it's just the normal ache of everyday life.

My balance isn't terrible but a part of my condition makes me not as aware of my body as most people are. Especially my limbs. So I knock those into things all the time. lol. I am forever ramming my arms/hands into doors and walls.

I know my condition is going to get a lot worse so I try to get out when I can. So I try to deal with the people.

Ughhh. That's so crazy. People don't have any sense of decorum. They think that they can do whatever they want. Have you ever seen the #shitabledssay or #stuffabledssay on twitter? It's crazy.

I get rude questions and comments all the time. What's wrong with you? Why are you limping? Why are you in a wheelchair? You don't look disabled enough to use a scooter. Blah blah blah.

The first time I applied I was a lot better off. So I was denied. I'm hoping that this time it's more obvious how messed up I am.

My case worker says I need to go to the doctor more often, but I can't afford it at all. We can barely pay our bills.

Well hopefully before that happens there will be better technology that will let you use the internet even then.

They should send you to one of their doctors and pay for it. That’s what happened to me, anyway.

by the way, after you get on, they periodically do a continuing disability review. I haven’t had one yet, but my understanding is that it’s paperwork (yay) and a doctors visit.

I don’t think they understand degenerative conditions tbh.

It’s a very stingy program tbh. There used to be more paperwork, but under Trump, I think the program’s either gone through administrative changes and/or budget cuts.

Well, technically there are two separate programs, but.
