The bit that's making me panic is that I have more information about the return flight than I do the outgoing flight and I'm suddenly afraid that maybe the only one coordinated was the return, and I was supposed to arrange the outbound leg myself. That'd be a bit tricky to do so last-minute!

Don't worry beforehand! I'm sure someone already covered it!
Who can you contact? Do you have their mail, phone number or any other way to reach them?
Btw are you the ones travelling or are you expecting other people to visit you?

I am part of the group of family that is going to visit other family.
I do have contact info for the one I *think* bought the tickets -but I used that contact info to send out queries last week and haven't gotten a reply. Which is troublesome.
Mmmrrrrrrrrr....
Maybe a roundabout, contact-the-ones-closest-to-the-one-I-think-bought-the-tickets?

It's a bit surprising that they wouldn't share the ticket info with you almost immediately after buying it - but also I'm an anxious mess and need all the information all the time ahaha
I'm sure once you speak to someone you'll get all the info you need (: maybe another member of the group you're supposed to be travelling with knows?

The more I read your story the more you make me anxious too. I hope you'll find out very soon.
And honestly if I were you I'd have snapped at the person "organizing" this. I can't even think of doing things like travelling like this.

Yessssss!
Contact reached.
Details obtained.
I have way more time than I was worried about; we're leaving at the very end of the day (just a few minutes before midnight) so all of a sudden life is easy. I have so many options for getting to the airport with that kind of timing.
Phew.
(Ha ha ha, while it's true this was a little down-to-the-wire, everyone in my family is pretty used to travelling, so we all treat it pretty casually. Honestly if it weren't for the fact that we're going to see someone hard to reach right after we get there, I wouldn't have panicked either because I could always have figured something out even if it meant getting there late -but I don't want to be late for this trip. Important stuff was front-loaded instead of back-loaded.
I mean, yeah, I was starting to panic -but notice I wasn't panicking until 3 days before we leave, and didn't even ask about it until last week...
Which means my panic was mostly my fault, since this was arranged a whole month ago.)

I'm used to travelling too but I still like to know where I'm going and when.

Well, it does help. Yeah.
Turns out I had the destination airport wrong too. Oh well. I've got it now.

Great to hear it's all solved!
I don't travel that much, so I would probably have panicked much earlier xD
