That does sound fun! And then the books are a remembrance of the trip too!

Yes! And talking with people you meet in bookstores gives all sorts of new insights into the place you are visiting

Readers are generally very good people.

I can't disagree with that!
I finished New Moon and started Eclipse. Not crazy about the series, but I am determined to finish it. I bought it at a fill a bag sale like 5 years ago, and I'm determined to read it all, and then maybe I will try to sell it. If no one wants to buy it, then I will probably put it in the "take a book, leave a book" box that I put on my front lawn in the summer.

I found the Twilight Saga not even bad. But I have to admit it I've read it when I was 15 I think. I don't know whether I would still like it. I should give it a try I guess..
I finished the third Narnia book "The Horse and his Boy" and also "El Cuarto Misterioso". And I've read "Tracks" for a third time for my seminar paper.
Next up it "Amnesia" (also Spanish, yaay challenge) and probably sth in German (Need something easy for my vacation).

I find the Twilight books very quick and easy to read and very entertaining. So they suck me right in, and I can read them even if there are distractions (like someone else watching tv in the room).
But I also really dislike Edward and Bella, and I can't relate to anything they say or do, and I think their relationship is unhealthy (I would have picked Jacob!)
So it's like I'm having a lot of fun reading the series, but I also kind of hate the series lol.
I have New Moon on hold at the library. I am going to pick that up this week. I want to compare it to the book. I watched it soon after it came out, but I don't really remember it.

lol, I don't think you'll be missing out on anything! Although I'm almost done with Eclipse (book #3), and I think this book is better than the first two. Not good enough to recommend or to re-read, just better than the others lol.
I'm going to the library today to pick up the New Moon DVD. I'm also getting Modern Family on DVD, Sense and Sensibility on DVD, The World of Warcraft Cookbook, The Bob's Burgers Cookbook, The Spook's Tale and Other Horrors, and Oliver Caine's In Trouble Again.

My partner wanted to buy it. He doesn't even cook, and I don't eat meat, so I felt like that would probably be a huge waste of money. So I told him we could get it from the library and see how it is first!
