I have a 2.5yo male shih tzu and I love him to death! He is a little terror though and has food aggression! I didn't realize how much hard work goes into owning a dog, It's just like a having a baby! Any time you want to go anywhere, you need to find a baby sitter to look after it xD
I wouldn't change him for the world though!

Hi ya, I have 2 kitties, unlike most kitties, mine are pretty awesome, not just like normal awesome, but they actually talk to me. One particular says good morning when I get up, asks for her food and thanks me, she just started doing it all on her own. Maybe it's because I'm always talking to her, and now she just talks back. She's a pretty kewl lil girl =^..^=

We had the sweetest dog. He belonged to my uncle, but he was at our house very often. We'd borrow him to go hunting, and then we'd just keep him for a while, take him on long walks, cuddle him while watching TV and accidentally on purpose drop little bits of sandwich meats on the floor while cooking breakfast...
I'm sure my uncle and his wife enjoyed not going on walks at seven in the morning too. It was a great arrangement for all parties involved, especially the dog.

I've always had pets. Right now we have three indoor cats. However, my bleeding heart partner takes care of the feral colony around our place (feeds them in the winter, puts out shelters for them, TNR, medicates, ect.) so we've ended up with some orphan/rejected or sick kittens that we raise and find homes for.

My family has a snake, a lizard, two dogs, and five cats. We've almost always had dogs and cats, but the snake and lizard are a relatively new addition.
The funny thing about the cats is we used to only have at most two at a time. In fact we were down to one cat for a while when this sweet little calico came to our back door. She was this tiny thing who came up and meowed at the back door and when we opened it she walked in like she owned the place. (We'd just recently moved in, so who knows.)
Anyway, she walked right up to us, rubbed up against everyone's legs and was very affectionate. And when Clyde, our St. Bernard, came up to sniff at her, she sniffed him right back, calm as you please. My dad started calling her Daredevil, shortened to DeeDee pretty quickly.

I have a
chinchilla named Meilin. She's a big sweetie towards me...most of the time and she gets along okay with my parents and best guy friend. Anyone else she doesn't care for and will express it. xD She's a poop machine and also a big chewer...she'll chew on anything. Thankfully she doesn't swallow whatever she puts her mouth on...that'd be bad. <~< She doesn't understand "stop" or any words actually. :p She's still smart enough to find ways to escape my room though. She also throws tantrums and has funny sleep positions. >ยท<
