Tattoos are great. Each one should be thought out, fit to the person getting the tattoo, and have a reliable, clean tattoo artist doing the tattoo. The tattoo shop should be clean, sanitized and well lit (lighting of the shop).
Tattoos should mean something to the person getting the tattoo also. Think carefully about where you want the tattoo placed on your body also.
I have 3 tattoos. I enjoy them and they have meaning to me.
Hope this helps those that are deciding either to have or not have a tattoo.

I love tattoos, and I have quite a few that I'd like to get. The first one I'm going to get is my cat.

I've got the artwork for one of the next tattoos I want done. I commissioned the same artist who did the artwork for one of my bigger pieces for a companion to said piece. I've got the artwork for the other leg done already (I did those two myself and I'm quite proud of them.) I've got a couple designs I want to do on my arms, but one design, I'm struggling with because it's got very deep and personal meaning.

I've been wanting to get a tattoo since like forever and I am still without ink on my body.
Just can't seem to decide on exactly what and where. As long as I have doubt I will wait. :}

I have many tattoos! I've handpoked a few on myself, too.
A few people like my work and have asked me to give them one as well

Wow! I've never considered doing a handpoked one myself...

It's less painful in my opinion, but takes a lot longer.
Make sure to do lots of research and use single use tattoo needles, tattoo ink, gloves, everything is sterilised etc
I like hand poking my own since it's a lot more personal. Areas I can't reach and bigger more detailed pieces I leave for the pros

I might have to give that a try someday.

I think a lot of tattoos are absolutely gorgeous, but I've never felt strongly enough about something that I would want to have it tattooed on me.
