I really don't have a system, so some have better names than others.
My regulars have more Elvish and a few character names, while my wilds tend to be a naming catch-all.
If I've been reading in a book and like a name. So, I have a steampunk one named after an ancient Egyptian.
For wilds I sometimes just take the name the artist gave it and put it in latin. (Poor Via Lactea!)
If I'm in a hurry they end up with just a couple letters. I have one named Ci and another is Ar.

I used to name my Knuffels after songs in the begining, and continues it with the Wild one. (yeah I have only one. xD) I just picked the songs I like, I didn't really concentrate on the meaning.

Mine are all names after Vocaloids and Utauloids, except for the wild ones. I usually just leave there names as whatever the creator called them.

i usually look how the knouffel look and think to a name that make me think to a link with it..
sometimes use babynames site to choose gender, meaning and language of the name :3

I name my knuffels using the first letter of what type they are.

"mchappy" I just got another knuffel last night. An Air Gen.9.
I named her Liz after the one I got her from. "mchappy"
