I wish there was a way to know which items are currently racing for 1st place. But I guess I'll just have to wait for it to end. When does the voting end?
I am pretty sure my entries don't stand a chance either. *laugh* Some of the entries are so dang clever.
It would be nice to know what the stats are after you've voted and can't change them- but I can see how it would be bad to feed that info to other people and get them to vote your own higher. I haven't told anyone which ones are mine.

I think it would be nice to see all the scores after you've rated every single entries but that might be hard to code... and also it might tempt people to get on their mules and re-rate to manipulate the scores.

The reason why you cannot see the ratings was done on purpose: If people saw the ratings some would be tempted to tamper with the results by creating/voting with mules to vote on entries they want to see rated down or rated up.
Of course people can still try to cheat like this, but the less you know about the ratings, the less you know where to manipulate things, so we felt that we would get the fairest results if people were left unclear about the ratings.

I can agree with that, also it's probably fair for the contestants too if the results were kind of secret; it's a competition but it doesn't need to become a competition on the forums. People might discuss about it, or be like 'she got more votes than he does, it's not fair' and it might end up in a fight or it will upset the designer. I think picking the winners is good enough, so the 'losers' will be with the rest who has lost the competition and not labeled as bottom loser. That's just horrible.
I'm wondering though Firn - you do not have to share if you prefer not to - will you vote as well? Or will you pick the one the users have voted for without deciding yourself?
Just curious ^^

Even thou it wouldnt be fair to see the scores/names during it[I totally agree its better with out] But after its over can we see who made which items?

Which is why I said once the user's voted on every single entries. But again, as I've said, there's the possibility with mules. Perhaps once all the votes are in, people can be given an option to check what score they received if they liked? No placements like 49th or 189th or something like that, but just the item score and the average for comparison sake... or perhaps it would be too much trouble.
I think it would be best to leave it to the artists to reveal which one they did or not at their discretion.

It's already October 29th here! :D *excited* Will you announce the winners around the same time this announcement was made too? I really want to know who won, since there were so many good items. X3

Same here, Mikael!
I've seen several ideas I'd like to see turned into items, so I'm excited about which ones will win!
