ah but you are in new zealand....maybe that means it finishes at midnight of each country???

nope. It always finish at midnight in the time zome of the admins. Wich means : UTC+1.
Actually they are near the 11th. Maybe it ends at the end of the 10th january.

I believe the site owners are in Germany, it's now almost 8PM there, perhaps it will end at midnight... (:
Edit: Luipi was quicker...
And as I said, it's 19:55PM here...
Germany is in the same timezone as Spain...

It looks like Spain is also UTC+1. I reccomend using
this site for time zone conversions. It has always worked well for me.

The events usually ends when the site owners get around to turning off the event popups.
I am sure there will be a message as well when this happens.
