I’m pretty meh about christmas lol.

It is kinda interesting, how different cultures may have other practices bleed over into them. Culture is very interesting that way.

I love eating chestnuts. My mom will buy frozen chestnuts (all peeled and stuff) and then use it for cooking.

I like Christmas, I don't like how crazy intense people get about it. Or how stores are blasting the music constantly. I need some diversity in my music. It's kind of sad because I love Christmas carols. I just don't want to hear them 24/7.

I also really like giving and receiving presents. I think it's fun.

It is very cool. I like melting pots of culture where you just get a bunch of them all mixed together. Take the good parts of it and disregard the rest. Though I do think it's important to learn about the cultures that you're enjoying.

Have you had fresh ones? Do they taste a lot different?

omgg same here. its one thing to listen to xmas music occasionally. its another to hear it all. the. time. 8u at least during those months. drives me a bit nutty.

i'd take a present any time. xD actually, as long as its free.........8u
like free cheesecake. which i got. today. xP

yeah we sometimes get fresh ones. my mom would first boil them and then put them in the small conventional oven and bake them. but not all chestnuts are good, like if they bob up in the water when you boil them, its a bad chestnut. or something.

I have to be in a very specific mood to want to listen to Christmas music. lol.

Presents are great. But I don't know any holidays besides Christmas and Hannukah that you get actual presents for. Well, Kwanza too, I think. I'm not sure. Birthdays and anniversaries too, but I don't think those really count as holidays.

The putting food in water trick is good for a lot of different things apparently. I bet they're super expensive here though. Most nuts and seeds are.

oh its nov 5th. i don't really keep track unless someone tells me. i only know that we're turning back the clock lol.

It is often mistaken about things. I have a lot of issues that cause something called 'brain fog' so I get details confused a lot. It's like your brain is constantly very tired so it's hard to think.

I only like it because of V for Vendetta. That movie is aweeesome.
