I was already around when the event started. In fact I noticed the change in the background even before the announcement was made.
And since there was nobody to chat with, I've spent my time throwing water bombs to NPCs while I work on my item guide :mcgrin:

In all honesty, I think the event room items are way cuter than the avatar items.
But I never do decorate rooms, so what's the point in getting them?
